Free Ranging Artistry and Performance
The Flea Circus Productions team of experienced and talented artists are based in the Perth Metropolitan area, Western Australia and offer the following:
- Roving performances featuring 'larger than life' Australian native creature characters
- Live music - Bossa Nova (Brazilian Jazz) featuring Gina Knight and Alfonzo
- Art and craft workshops
- Art residencies
All facilitators and performers are qualified, experienced and above all, passionate about what they do and display a high level of professionalism.
Gina Knight, Artist and Director of Flea Circus Productions has been providing services as a community artist, workshop facilitator and performer at festivals and events over the past nine years. She has worked with several prominent community organisations and also freelance with Flea Circus Productions over that time.
She has also worked for the City of Fremantle as the Coordinator of the Fremantle Village Art Market in 2009 and was the Entertainment Coordinator for the Fremantle Festival Carnival Day for 2008. She has mentored youths in event management for the City of Fremantle and produced the Clangfest Under Age Youth Music Event at the Fremantle Fibonacci Centreand the Clangfest Revolution City of Fremantle Youth Music Event at the Fly By Night Musicians Club in conjunction with youth committees in 2009. She worked at ArtsWA (Dept of Culture and the Arts) in 2004-05 as the Executive Assistant and has almost completed her Bachelor of English and Creative Arts.
