Flea Circus Productions’ Creature Feature is a dynamic and unique
20 minute stage show designed to intrigue and
tantalize. Swathed in elaborate full
body costumes and masks, performers use movement, mime and dance as their
primary form of expression.
This theatrical piece explores and promotes consciousness of how
difference and cultural diversity can be viewed in society.The creatures are based on native beasties
that often invoke phobic reactions of fear and trepidation based on visual
judgment and inaccurate perceptions.With investigation and open minds, differences can be understood and
bridges constructed.
Creature Character
performers weave a beautiful story of integration using the creatures as a
metaphor for human relations.The story
is told with humour through movement, mime and script with the backdrop of
an elaborate soundscape by local composer and musician, Jason
Johnston.Perfect for outdoor or indoor
