conducted at Fairbridge Festival 2007
"Gina and Kio from Flea Circus Productions conducted a
fantastic youth workshop at the 2007 Fairbridge Festival.Catering for about 40 young people at a time
aged around 8-18 years, they helped create totems, wands and costume
accessories over an entire afternoon.The activities fitted in perfectly with the theme and general feel and
culture of the festival and were a really good fit for the age group of the
participants.
The Flea Circus team were
flexible and well organised, and most importantly were really enthusiastic and
energetic, and encouraged the young people to participate and ‘have a go’.The workshop was a great addition to the
‘Youthopia’ program."
Two Day Artist Residency - CANWA Liveworx Creating Pathways Training Program
"Thank you very much for your invaluable input into the
recent LiveworX Creative Pathways Training Program in Kellerberrin, it was
kindly appreciated… Your involvement in the course has provided a source of inspiration,
and has facilitated some skills that will support these participants in their
future endeavours… The Butterfly Creative project was continued and completed
by LiveworX participants in following workshops and the completed piece was
then used as a main stage prop for the Kellerberrin Dreaming Festival.This provided the young women with a sense
of pride and achievement, and also the wider community were able to enjoy the
beauty of the artwork."
