Art and Craft Workshops
Flea Circus Productions runs exciting and fun workshops at private and community events. We can also provide workshops and art residencies in schools. Gina Knight, manager of Flea Circus Productions has been working at festivals and events over the past seven years.
We offer art and craft activities, and more specifically workshops in textiles, costume, food art, and performance art. Workshops are tailored to suit different age groups. Facilitators are enthusiastic and experienced, and have run workshops at many key Western Australian festivals for the City of Joondalup, Fremantle, Cockburn, Busselton, Wanneroo, Kalamunda, Subiaco, Bayswater, and at Cue’s QFest, Whiteman Park Holiday Programs, Fairbridge Festival as many schools in the Perth Metropolitan area.
Workshops offer participants opportunities for creativity and self-expression exploring a wide range of materials. Facilitators provide as much support, assistance and encouragement to participants as possible. Parents are encouraged to assist smaller children with their craft - an opportunity for parents to spend time with their children in a low pressure, supportive and creative environment.

Wand and Totem Making
Flexible cane and tubing are used to create a two or three-dimensional wand or totem. A range of interesting textiles and recycled fabrics can then used for decorating. This activity fully engages the imagination and creativity of 5 year old children through to adults and is an all-time favourite at ongoing festivals and fiestas. Designs have included animals, fairy wands, dream catchers, peace totems, geometrical shapes, flowers and more.
